Black beans are the main ingredient in Brazil most popular dish Feijoada. It is widely used with white rice in all of Latin America (Cuba, Costarika, Nicaragua, Venezuela) and each country calls it differently (gallo pinto, Moros y Cristianos, Moro de habichuelas negras).
